International signing day is in July or June aint it?

And, why couldn't you just inherit the risk of a japanese player signing vs. not signing.. ?

Obviously I haven't worked out the logistics, but would you be interested in doing this type of winter league?

The offseason ..yawn..

So, the offseasons around here are pretty boring sometimes.. the "lull" of the draft, that kind of thing.. Did we even have a winter league this year? Given all my free time this offseason, without the IBC distraction, got me to thinking about how we can reshape our offseason and make it m...

Vernon Wells

Is available.. need a RFer, backup C, and 2B.

Iwamura is on the block also.

Most of the prospects are available, just ask.

I'm looking to make a run this year, again.. so not looking to dismantle anything, but if a deal makes sense we'll do it.

If this is a list of the best catchers in the game, you can't leave Posada off after the season he just had (his OPS was almost .100 pts better than Victor's - .970 - .879). 1. Martinez 2. Mauer 3. Martin 4. McCann 5. Posada If this list was about who I'd want for the next 5 years.... 1. Mauer 2. M...

Main is a great pick... If I had remembered him at my 1st round pick, I might have taken him isntead of Kuroda.

I'm shocked, thanks for the remarks everyone - considering I haven't been able to give this my full attention. Add Bourbon to my stable! And I have a couple guys on my board that look exciting. Kuroda made a lot of sense for me. Gives me much needed and desired depth in the rotation. Mussina is now ...

I'm going to be totally honest - I'm off Percocet so I got totally wasted both nights this past weekend. My boys came in on Saturday night, and my dad came in Sunday to watch the G-Men. I'm going to try my best for this weekend, with some help, but no promises. That would appear to be stupid at thi...

With my 3rd pick, and some other guys I had scoped out a bit as best I could being taken ahead of me, I was pretty elated to get the "19th best sepct going into the draft" according to BA. Some are down on him after his jr. year performance and his broken ankle, but I think he's a solid pi...

With my 2nd selection, I chose Pete Kozma - SS I admit, this pick was a rush pick - under time constraints using a friend's computer real quick before heading out the door. Little research went into this one, I didn't want to hold up the draft.. I figured a guy picked at 18 overall isn't so bad in t...

With my first pick, I wasn't sure what direction I wanted to head - but I did know I had a possible glaring hole in my rotation with Papelbon most likely losing his SP projection - and when I found that Kuroda was available it made sense. I won 104 games last year, have a young squad, and see no sen...

Reds '07 Draft

Well, needless to say I've had absolutely no internet access for a long while now, and I wasn't able to trade picks or prepare for this draft in the way I've done in the past. So this might not be my strongest draft, but I think its still turning out better than I had anticipated given the circumsta...
