Bren, I owe you a due of thanks, for shutting down the draft! Frankly, I have had a real hard time trying to get my roster down to drafting status, by either trading players, or releasing them. I have no players that I really want to lose.
Your slow down has given me more time to think about those players, and even moreso, I have some publictions coming after the new year. Also Baseball America will be able to do several more team reports which will help me make the right calls, before my turns come up again.
So thank you Bren, your slow-down will definetly benefit the D'Backs!
Thanks again -Jag
Thanks Bren!
"Thanks" = "bug" ? Ouch!Pirates wrote:Shh, he'll tell you that you have too much free time and not to bug him because what part of "UNTIMED" don't you understand.
On this same subject, since I can't find a deal I want for certain players, and I really don't want to release any, I'm considering going a different direction.
I'm considering putting Picks #35, 37, 43, 65, & 71 up for trade. Please email me with any ideas.
In fact, JP brings up a good point, "too much free time" he says. Well, it's not actually "free time", instead it's called "preferred time". I would rather be playing with my SIM rosters instead of doing things I should be, such as, getting all by bikes out of storage and getting them built up so I can sell them, and quit paying for starage. I should be snow hiking the foothills, bike riding the roads, and getting in good Body-board shape for an April Hawaii trip.
So, with that in mind, I really think I'm ready to fastforward to Spring Training, and quit being preoccupied with the last 5 spots on my roster.
The Point: Hit me up today, those picks are gonna be gone (I think)!
