Trade Objection/ Draft Halt

Post by Cardinals »

Since JB/Bradon's trade is going to be objected and it takes 4-7 days to officially end any controversy (apparently?), then it makes sense to me to shut down the draft so that in case it DOES go to vote and it IS overturned we don't have a bunch of picks made and have to reverse everything.

I don't really see how the trade will be overturned, but given the chance it will be it seems the only option to halt the "pre"-drafting.

The trade sucks, but there's no chance it's overturned.

That's a separate issue, the issue at hand here is do we officially halt the draft or not?

I don't think there's any question. We'd be screwing Brandon over by sticking him with JB's choice and overturning his deal. Gotta halt it.

Much less of a hassle to suspend the draft now.
