League overturning trade
Thinking about that ridiculous Schiling deal again brought up something...
How long is too long for the league to overturn a deal? We should probably set a time limit. With that, do we overturn deals that followed as well? If not, basically, we could be looking at a loophole where I can make a lopsided trade, trade away one of the guys I got and then my first trade is not possible to be overturned by league vote. We should probably make some rules regarding this.

In the past I've gone with a week for overturning approved deals, particularly during the season, otherwise you run the risk of a player playing for a team then having to be traded back and do you resim those games or not. It's also in the rules still that a trade, when reviewed by the TRC, should be judged based on it's merit at the time it was completed, rather than anything that may have occurred since then (i.e. injuries, death, release of projections, an MLB ttrade making a player suddenly more valuable, throwing a no-hitter, etc.)

I am not one to want to see open wounds fester ... I think 3 days is long enough and would propose the following:RedSox wrote:Do we want to add something to the rules setting a time limit on when an objection can be raised?
Approved trades may also be appealed if at least 5 members call for a leaguewide vote on the approved trade within the next 84 hours after an approved trade is posted on OOPPS.
84 hours is actually 3 1/2 days but allows time for trade approvals posted at 2 am or so to get digested for 3 days ...
