Whit Merrifield

Right now Whit Merrifield is slotted to be the RF for the IBC White Sox because I would rather play my other 2B, Starlin Castro, at 2B and because Merrifield actually does play some OF.

In real life this past season he had a breakout year (.289/.325/.462 - 19 HRs, 34 SBs) so his SIM should be better then last year's .257/.297/.354 - 6 HRs, 18 SBs. [Ironically he hit .285/.314/.427 for the IBC White Sox this season.] This was on the heels of his .283/.323/.392 half season real life debut in 2016. He is not real young but he isn't a grizzled vet yet either having turned 28 this past season.

If you are seeking a 2B maybe he is your guy ... I would be seeking a COF or a 3B. I can live with Merrifield in RF (and as a fall back if Castro gets hurt) but if two teams feel they can improve their respective squads I can live with that as well.
