With my team still hovering around .500 (ugh) and the trade deadline approaching, the IBC Yanks are willing to explore helping the teams in the playoff race upgrade their roster for the 2017 postseason run. There are quite a few teams fighting for a playoff spot, I am excited to see how this will play out. For you non-contenders I added a few pieces that may also be of interest to you.
Available:
Tim Anderson — 24 year old starting SS with a nice upside, struggling a bit this year, but the future is still bright. Also with a solid projection for this season.
Adrian Beltre — The ageless wonder. Still producing at a high level in the MLB this season along with a very solid SIM for this season (111 OPS +, 7 Def, 3.7 zWar)
Rafael DePaula — Killing it for me in the SIM this season coupled with a strong projection (10.57 K/9). He should be able to help the back end of a bullpen
Edwin Encarnacion — Adjusting to life in Cleveland nicely. Can slide into the middle of a lineup this SIM season (34 HR / 137 OPS+, 3.6 zWar)
Justin Grimm — Another guy that can help out a bullpen this season (10.89 K/9, 113 ERA+)
John Lackey — A guy that could very easily slot into the #3 slot into a rotation for this SIM season, very strong SIM (112 ERA+, 3.1 zWar)
Jonathan Lucroy — One of the better catchers in the SIM this season, should be able to help a contender. (111 OPS+, 3.7 zWar)
Manuel Margot — Young CF with loads of potential. Was on many top prospect lists coming into this season and more than holding his own in SD. Also has a usable SIM with great D and speed
Darren O’Day — The best pen arm of the lot for this season would make for a nice set-up man for a contender (11.04 K/9, 148 ERA+)
Ben Zobrist — Mr. Utility. Can play all over the diamond, coupled with a strong SIM (113 OPS+, 3.1 zWar)
