While Shawn and we didn't discuss the ads being brought onto the website with the rest of ExCo, largely because it seems like a no-brainer, the way we spnd the money is something we ought to discuss.
What Shawn and I have discussed so far is that first priority is paying for the hosting, then the annual projection disk and then a WS Trophy/Prize each season. These are our direct annual costs and I can't imagine there would be an objection to them, they'll make the league independent and self-sustaining.
Should any money be left over each year, Shawn and I have both kicked around the idea of being reimbursed for past costs, namely past hosting costs and projection disks. I don't think this is an unreasonable request but I don't think Shawn or I want to presume it either.
If we somehow accrue funds above and beyond that while still keeping the league self-sustaining, we'll discuss that when the time comes.
Right now hosting costs $5/month, though Shawn hopes to bump up to a better host at $10/month. Projection disks have been running something like $25-35 each year and the T-Shirt cost each year is probably going to be around $30, putting annual costs at ~$115-175/year (depending on the hosting plan.
I have no idea how much we'll take in from this, but I thought I'd outline that info and get a discussion going on this.

I think you guys absolutely deserve to get reimbursed for everything you've spent. If we're lucky enough to reach the point where there are excess funds and there is no obvious way to spend them to improve the league then I think that's when we can start discussing prize money.
