Orioles Offseason Trade Block

The O's roster is starting to come together nicely, but there is still some work to be done...

I would like to package two or more of my pitching prospects (Rolando Pascual, Gaby Hernandez, Kyle Waldrop, Sean West, Brett Sinkbeil, Kasey Kiker, David Huff, Wade LeBlanc, Tyler Clippard, Greg Smith) for a SP or two. I could also send one or more of them with a veteran if that gets a deal done.

The following players are not currently fitting into the Orioles plans for the future:

DH's - I don't need to move all of them, but I have way too many clogging my roster right now...
Jeff Baker, RF, 26 yrs old - .305/.366/.508 at AAA in 2006...only 187 total ABs in 2007, so could bounce back.

Jason Botts, DH, 27 yrs old - .320/.436/.545 at AAA in 2007, might yet get a chance in TEX, and you know how DMB loves a good AAAA slugger.

Jonny Gomes, DH, 26 yrs old - .244/.322/.460 in 2007. He's been down the last two years, but he can still mash, and he's still young.

Kendry Morales, 1B, 24 yrs old - .294/.333/.479 in 2007, plus a solid year at AAA.

Ryan Shealy, 1B, 28 yrs old - .262/.345/.492 at AAA in 2007. A nice recovery at AAA after a rough start in the bigs, he could still excel if given a chance or a change of scenery.

Veterans stuck in a youth movement:
Doug Davis, SP, 32 yrs old - 13-12, 4.25, 144/95 K/BB...Currently slated to by my #2 starter.

Mike Sweeney, DH, 34 yrs old - you basically know what you're getting here.

Also, I'd like to move one of Joey Gathright/Nate McLouth.

These are basically just highlights (or lowlights). Everyone has a price, so it never hurts to ask about those that are not mentioned above.
