Shelby Miller

Projections for the Braves are out today and it's quite favorable for Shelby.

They project him to be worth 2.9 wins in 172 innings (3.37 wins over 200 IP).

2014 was a tale of two Shelbies. There was the Shelby that struggled to command his 4-seemer and couldn't get on top of his curveball, and then there was the Shelby that put it all together in September where he commanded his fastball, curve and changeup all very well and ended up being one of the Cardinals best pitchers down the stretch with a 2.77 FIP in September and a .189 opponent average. He just turned 24 and has shown to be very durable in the majors thus far. There's a reason the Braves were willing to deal Jason Heyward to get this guy.

I'm not dying to move him, but I have an abundance of pitching and just want to feel out the market for Shelby.

I'm looking for upgrades at SS and 2B (and 3b if a better option than Moose is available), but always prefer value in general. I can't take back more pieces than I'm giving out since my roster is pretty jam packed right now, and really if I can clear a little roster space in the process, that wouldn't be a bad thing.

Also, anybody looking for a guy off the bench that can play 1b and 3b and crushes lefties, Mark Reynolds is available for the best pick available, or I can even include a pick with him for a pick upgrade.
