Who do you support?

Post by Yankees »

Given I got back from my road trip on Friday afternoon and have been absolutely exhausted, I have been sleeping a lot and watching the first weekend of Premier League soccer. It's awesome to have it back.

Without all the wiseass comments from the peanut gallery of haters, who's your BPL team?

I'm a Tottenham man...

I've come around to watching soccer, but I don't SUPPORT anyone. I do root for Manchester United, did a report on their hooligan fans my freshman year in high school and never looked back. Can't believe they lost yesterday!

I maintain an anti-Premier League stance. But were I to choose, I suppose I'd lean toward Everton. Now if you're asking in general, when it comes to European soccer, I'll be right up there supporting SS Lazio (for whom I was involved in my first--and only--riot).

ManU thanks to their affiliation with the Yankees around the time I found out about the Premier League (early 2000s).

Unfortunately, I'm a Reading guy, so that means I'm a free agent this year when it comes to the EPL. I may jump on Everton's bandwagon because of Tim Howard.

I've been looking at a couple of the other teams, but I may also end up going the soul-less route and just rooting for whatever team I like at the moment.
