Offseason, 2013 draft order

Post by Cardinals »

First and foremost, we still need to find a Brewers GM. It would be good if we could bring somebody in prior to December, so that the new GM will have at least a month to prepare for the draft, and will be able to trade away or trade for draft choices. If you know of a strong candidate, please, let one of ExCo know.

It appears to be safe to assume that nobody is interested in moving to Milwaukee, but if you are, let one of us know why you are and it can be considered, much like in the past. I don't think there are any Brewers fans in the league, so nobody has dibs or anything like that.

Raw draft order:

1. San Diego
2. Washington
3. Baltimore
4. Anaheim
5. Cleveland
6. St. Louis
7. Seattle
8. San Francisco
9. Chicago Cubs
10. New York Mets
11. Minnesota
12. Colorado
13. Milwaukee
14. Houston
15. Los Angeles
16. Chicago White Sox
17. Atlanta
18. Tampa Bay
19. Toronto
20. Detroit
21. Cincinnati
22. New York Yankees
23. Philadelphia
24. Boston
25. Miami
26. Oakland
27. Kansas City
28. Pittsburgh
29. Arizona
30. Texas

We use the NFL-style of drafting for playoff teams, so Texas, despite being a Wild Card team, will pick 30th since the Rangers won the World Series.
