Rule 5 Mock run
Should we compel participation in the Mock Draft Nate is proposing? If not everyone participates, it won't give an accurate gauge of whether his idea will work or not. I don't personally see any harm in trying it. I don't know if it will change anyone's mind or not But I'm curious to see what the results are.

There are at least a few GMs in the league who do not want to indicate a "lesser" value of some of their players (admittedly this peratins more to players in the 26 to 30 range then 45 to 50) and certainly don't want to with their prospects prior to the trades being open.

Absolutely not. Nate and I discussed this at length, and he is quite satisfied with using representatives to choose players. He also, at least as of when he and I talked Thursday morning, was quite happy to do this as a curiosity experiment, not as a persuasive device.RedSox wrote:Should we compel participation in the Mock Draft Nate is proposing?
