ExCo has decided to reverse the DePaula signing. While he may have actually signed and agreed to his deal in 2010, it was contingent upon him obtaining a visa, which he didn't receive until this past month. Essentially, there is/was too much confusion about his eligibility. He is going to be in the 2012 IBC Draft class.

This is a pretty rare case, and hopefully one we won't see again. Either way, we're working on clarifying the language in our rules so that it's even more cut and dry. I don't really think this will be much of an issue with the new CBA being put into effect, though.
