I've been working on getting everything set up for this year. Hoping to have it completed tonight.

Shall we assume completed by early next week since we have arrived at the holiday weekend? ;)

If you want to begin setting your queue, you can begin doing so up at the top (using the Queue link obviously). I still have some work to do on converting over to numbered draft picks, along with some site changes to prevent last year's debacle from repeating. Hopeful that I can finish that on Monday.

Let's start this thing. I can't remember the last time I had a first round pick.

I'd say Grandal and Ranaudo.

I was disappointed Harper didn't slip to the 8 spot *tongue in cheek*

Grandal and Ranaudo was the correct answer. Can I call dibs on Dan's pick?

Nope, do not need you getting lucky and taking my next pick.

Haha...you can wait your turn until 85...besides, he still has over 90 minutes to decide...if he doesn't have someone in his queue...that could be troublesome but also foolish on his part since he was logged on last night.

The ExCo has ruled that I get that pick Nick. We just took a vote and I was the only one present, it was unanimous

If that is the case, I would like to have a league wide appeal on that decision.

Sorry for the delay...trying to work out a trade before I pick so I can better decide whom I may need to drop. Hope to have it figured out in the next couple of hours, if not I will still make my pick within the next 5 hours.

Is it me, or is this draft going much slower than last year?

It's not you. I remember pretty clearly that I was out of the country on December 16 when I made my two picks at the very end of the third round, so we're going roughly 50% slower. I guess it's not the end of the world since we'll still be done in early February, but for some reason slow drafts are painful.
