Cardinals general manager John Mozeliak acknowledged Thursday that Yadier Molina (knee) is likely done for the season.
Molina had his right knee examined Thursday in St. Louis. The good news is that no structural damage was found, nor will he require any surgery, however the Cardinals would prefer to give him a headstart on the offseason. "The most important thing is just making sure he's OK, and rest is probably the best treatment for this," said Mozeliak. If true, Matt Pagnozzi and Bryan Anderson will share duties behind the dish. If we didn't play .325 baseball since sweeping the Reds and actually beat shitty teams and were in the race for the division or Wild Card, there is no doubt in my mind Yadi would play. I mean he caught 20 innings against the Mets and started the next day because it was Wainwright's turn to go and he had to be there for his boy. Yadi's a warrior. I say he plays
