What F-mart deal is that?
We should perhaps ask Shawn to set up a forum like this for the TRC members (if there isn't one already)

How do we view pending trades? Or did this just spread through the grapevine?

I heard it from JB after Jagger was bragging about it to him.

Oh and sorry, Bren, Jagger said it's:

German Duran
Rick Vanden Hurk
Bobby Parnell
Zach Braddock
Ryan Raburn

for

Fernando Martinez
Joey Devine
Shawn Gallagher

Vanden Hurk is an interesting arm, but that is just horrible, and I've studied Duran, Braddock and Raburn as much as anyone I suspect, having had the last two on my roster recently and Duran being a Rangers prospect who I watch regularly in Frisco.

Ya that is a joke. I suppose this is the first test of the new TRC.

Except that the new TRC doesn't take over until the ASB, from what Shawn told me. So it's more the last test for the current TRC.

There's not one yet, as I didn't have time to set one up before going on vacation, however I question whether there should be.

Is the trade committee supposed to discuss trades and then come to a 2/3 consensus, or are they supposed to vote completely independently without input from the other members. Also, I'm not sure I would be able to prevent a TRC-member involved trade from being commented on by that member.

Good point. The TRC voters should each be making their own decisions independently, at least IMO. They're intelligent and experienced enough.
