Many have bitched of the slow server and some have brought up people in the league pitching in for a faster one and have volunteered to help pay.
Is this possible?

I keep losing my damn posts while at work, starting to piss me off.
As far as I know it shouldn't cost too much to transfer domains, if not for free, unless Webhero has you locked in. I don't think upgrading service with Webhero is the solution, frankly what you're paying for now is not what you're getting. Our hosting for PAC has been superb in terms of speed and we're paying about the same, if not less than what you're paying. I'll look around and try to do some pricing tonight.
1. Bren, do you know when the contract with Webhero expires?
2. JP, just curious who has volunteered and exactly how much we would be looking at in terms of contributions. Depending on this, I might look for a 3rd host (different from Webhero and PAC's) which would allow us to run cron jobs (which are basically scheduled tasks that run on their own at times that I could set). This would allow things like waiver processing and draft skipping to happen automatically instead of only when someone checks that page.
