Brewers (Semester is finally over)

Post by Brewers »

I want to mix up the mix.

Available:

Luis Ayala - Decent back of the pen arm in the sim...he has a 3.95 ERA in real life. Always had the arm, can he keep it together. A C level prospect could pull him from me.

Felix Doubront - He is a 21 year old starter who is K-ing over a guy an inning. He is probably destined to the pen, but he may become a trade chit to a second division team where he can become a 3-4 starter. Like the performance, not in love with the player.

Mike Fontenot - Great sim at 2B. He had a rough May, but now has a .809 OPS vs. RHP and a .933 OPS in June. I am willing to ride out his bat. He has great versatility on the IF too. He would take a very good prospect to pull from me.

Cyle Hankard - This guy can hit. .352/.427/.511. I like him, but I am more of an AL guy. I also have a lot of OF, so I would deal him for pitching or IF.

Cody Johnson - .260/.358/.597, 18 HR in the FSL...see above.

Shane Lindsay - a golden arm, 2.84 ERA and 18 K in 13 IP so far this year as his first as a full time reliever.

Matt Maloney - 2.01 ERA in AAA and a good first start in the majors. At some point you have to start believing in the performance. I have one GB lefty already in Maholm, so I could deal Maloney if the right deal walked up to me.

Evan Meek - 3.48 ERA out of the Pirates pen this year. A nice young reliever for next year.

Steven Pearce - He is enjoying a nice bounce back campaign in AAA with his OPS finally over .800 again. Pretty much the same comments as Johnson and Hankard.

Ben Snyder - When does this guy get some press...2.11 ERA in AA with 27 H in 43 IP with 47 K on top of that. I would move him for the right exchange. I am just not a huge NL guy, so I don't know much about these guys.

Michael Taylor - Would love to package him with something to get something even better. He is killing the ball. .342/.406/.577. Probably only available for SP, C, MI

Grant Desme - Notice the OF depth, .281/.335/.520 and speed. Another guy that could go in the right deal.

Barry Enright - 3.64 ERA in AA...Looks like a 3-4 starter to me. Keeps moving up the chain.

Charles Blackmon - back to OF, .311/.383/.417 with 15 SB as a CF.

Brett DeVall - 2.11 ERA in Low A. Looks like the Braves have done it again.

Matt McBride - hit 1.140 in A+ ball, before a recent promotion. Struggling like lots of guys during a mid season promotion. I hate the Indians, so he comes a bit cheaper.
