Does Dwight Howard Secretly Suck?

I'm watching Dwight Howard just get handled by Big Baby, one game after he got handled by Kendrick Perkins. I saw him steal a loose ball on a play that he should have slammed home hard, and Ray Allen (not the roughest toughest player I've ever seen) locks him down so he can't get a shot off, he then misses both free throws. What is Dwight Howard doing exactly that is so dominating?
