I'm going to trade one of Ryan Hanigan, Mike Rivera, and Dusty Ryan on the block for the best RP or prospect offered.

Hey Brett - why would I want any of those guys?

Great question:
1) Ryan Hanigan - league-average defense, and is a tremendous obp guy, sporting a .294/.383 at the MiLB level, and a .274/.367 at the MLB level. Not much power, but solid defense, good average, and great obp for a C. Only 28, he'd be a great backup/solid starter at C.

2) Mike Rivera - well above-average defense, and excellent power. Rivera hit 21 homers in 320 ab's between AAA/MLB in 2007, and had a line of .307/.377/.435 last year as the Brewers backup. Rivera is slightly older, but his defense and power are useful qualities. His 3 year ops+ at the MLB level are 97, 141, 113.

3) Dusty Ryan - The lights went on for this 24 year old last year. Ryan opened the season very well with Erie before hitting a summer swoon (finished at .253/.340/.476) - but anyone who watched Erie (includes me) would say that he and Wilkin were their two best players. Though swooning, he was promoted to AAA where he lambasted a .315/.370/.548 line. If that wasn't enough, Dusty was thrown into the MLB level, and continued his hot hitting with a .318/.380/.500 line. BA rated him as the #9 prospect in the Tigers system saying, "Strengths: Incorporating a toe tap as a timing mechanism and repositioning his hands resulted in a smoother, more direct swing that unleashed Ryan's prodigious raw power. He's still known for his plus-plus arm and threw out 46 percent of big league basestealers." He hit the only home run of the year that I saw CLEAR the Tullio Arena in Erie - which is a straight pull shot of about 420-440 feet.

IM, GChat, or PM me...but only one of them will go - and all will SIM this year.
