Rule Change: Active roster size
Current rule: Each team must field a team of at least ten active database position players and ten active database pitchers for each game.
Proposed rule: Each team must maintain at least 25 database players at all times, including one catcher.

I voted for "25 w/at least one catcher" for two reasons:
1. I think each team should be required to have at least one catcher ...
2. It is not unreasonable to require GM to have at least 25 players from the database on his team. Note that it does not say 25 active players so I do not expect to see any arguements that this proposed rule handicaps a team dealing with a rash of injuries.
Quite honestly I would prefer a rule that requires each team to field a team of at least ten active database position players, of which one must have a defensive rating as a catcher, and ten active database pitchers for each game - but I understand that some GMs do not necessarily check their MPs daily.
