This draft was so horrible that only Roberto De La Cruz having a Stanton-like power explosion next year and becoming my 3B of the future could possibly make it respectable. I had no choice but to pick him back up. See kids, this is what happens when you don't do your homework. You end up with a LH RP as your first rounder, an unfixably broken player in the 2nd round, and a fat JUCO CF in the 5th. Sadly, this draft has a competitor for "worst Marlins draft" in 2007, but that one may already look better with Arencibia taken in the 3rd round. Joe Savery hitting his way to the bigs would really solidify 2nd-worst there. Fortunately I think I've gotten better at the draft stuff since then.
