I caught the end of a slamball game on CBS today, and it was awesome. Has anyone else seen this? Know anything about it? Why haven't I heard of this until now? Anyway, it was badass. I hope it's a weekly thing.

Quick Wiki research -- it used to be on Spike in 02/03 (which is when I remember having seen it). Wiki says it's been airing on CBS/Versus since August. I also find it quite entertaining, having just mentioned it to JP pointed me to your post.

Ya Slamball is/was phenomenally entertaining. The problem with the Spike version was they couldn't decide whether to produce it as legitimate competition or over the top silliness (a la Pros vs. Joes). The games themselves are always fun to watch.
