And gabe.. Dane cook steals material from Louis C.K.

Go listen to Louis, you'll like him much better. And if you don't fuck you.

I like Mitch but I think he's way overrated now because he's dead. Much like Marylin Monroe, James Dean, JFK, ect. but to a much lesser extent

I should have included Louis CK on mine. He's dirty, but he's really funny.

1. George Carlin (No other comedian has ever had as much influence on mainstream America, he literally decided what you can and can't say on TV)
2. Richard Pryor (Just unbelievably funny as well as a trail blazer)
3. Rodney Dangerfield (Makes this list for longevity alone)
4. Mitch Hedburg (I was lucky enough to see him live when I was at Tulane, to me he's the Kurt Cobain of standup comedy)
5. Dave Chapelle (Saw him pre-Chappelle show fame, unbelievably funny).

Ended up watching Eddie Murphy's "Delirious" last night. Thought it would be a great opportunity to remind those who've seen it how fucking funny it is, and to tell those who haven't seen it that they must see it.....

That's bringing one from way back - two recent ones that I've seen that are awesome:

Ricky Gervais - "Out of England" - His delivery is f'ing incredible...
Jim Jeffres - "I Swear to God" - Not that I agree with everything he says - but I do love a comedian who just doesn't give a shit who he offends.

I still can't believe Roseanne barr got a mention.

Bob Saget is pretty fucking funny though. he might not be as funny if you weren't thinking of him as Danny tanner when you watch his stuff though.
