I hate injuries...

Post by Yankees »

So I'm reading espn.com today and see that Fausto Carmona is out for a little while longer. My reaction: "Holy crap, I think he's still on my IBC team."

Lost to Injury:
Carmona Fausto (long time)
Escobar Kelvim (whole year)
Figgins Chone (2 times)
Hill Rich
Soriano Alfonso (2 times)
Wigginton Ty
Wolfe Brian

Three starting pitchers
Three starting lineups
One good SIM'ing reliever

Year after year, it's getting to be re-goddamn-diculous...Use this forum to air your injury complaints from the '08 season...

Escobar Kelvim (whole year)

Hey, you traded for him knowing he was injured and his shoulder was a mess and he wasn't likely to pitch at all this season.......you can't complain about that one.

Rafeal Soriano - Either go get surgery or nut up and pitch you pussy! This on again off again, my elbow is sore crap is getting old in a hurry!

You wanna talk about injuries? Take a look at who the IBC Yanks have had on the DL at some point this season.

Moises Alou - only guy who can come off and go back on the DL in the same week

John Bale
Chris Britton
Mike Gonzalez
Andruw Jones
Scott Kazmir
Ian Kennedy
Paul LoDuca
Albert Pujols
Alex Rodriguez
BJ Ryan
Gary Sheffield
Chien Ming Wang

Shut up JB, you don't get to complain about anything. Oh, poor me, I only have Pujols, ARod, Sizemore, Mauer, and everyone else that's any good

Never heard of half these guys, and the other half are WAY past their prime. In fact, most of these guys never had a prime. In fact, Andruw Jones is dead. Cross him off then.

First I lost my best setup guy in Chad Cordero, then I lost my starting SS and starting catcher in the same day in Keppy and Doumit, lost Frank Thomas right when I traded for him, and now Konerko is going down. Still no sign of Noah Lowry, who now "hopes to pitch this year but hasn't thrown yet," no doubt he gets a useful projection next year. Not sure if this counts but also lost Mike Cameron for the first month due to a stimulant suspension that he was later given a medical exemption for. I don't really have any offense to spare losing all those guys. Thank God for Mark DiFelice and the one year wonder gang.

Too late.

The Dodgers' official website reports that Hiroki Kuroda will be placed on the 15-day disabled list with tendinitis and an impingement in his right shoulder.

In any case, you aholes can start bitching when your DL starts eating into your 25 man active.

IBC Total: 1,296-1,467...469%
