After every draft pick you make, you need to make sure your roster is at 55 and legal.
As it stands, undrafted draft picks do not count toward your roster total. Once you make a selection, that player counts towards your roster.
Refresher: 55 total, including at least 10 spots for players drafted in the 2024 (current) draft and the 2023 draft. Players with a 22-designation DO NOT count as draft-eligible players once the draft ends.
If your roster is out of compliance, you must cut players to bring your roster to compliance. A trade (2 for 1, 3 for 1) does not count as compliance, and the trades will be reversed.
Rosters who are not in compliance by Monday, noon, ET will have players randomly cut.

Reminder that the maximum roster size is 55. Of those 45 may be non-draft players. Players from the 2023 draft no longer qualify as draft players. Currently there are three teams over the 55 limit once the unused picks are considered.

Teams that are over the 55 limit.
Rays at 57
Dodgers at 57
White Sox at 57. One of those is an unused pick, still one over after the pick is dropped.
