Minidraft 2023 Information | New Angels, White Sox GMs

Our IBC World Series is tied at 1-1 (boxes forthcoming when the series ends), but we're beginning to lay the ground for our offseason.

A refresher: JB retired, Bren resigned, Jim moved from Chicago to SD, Z moved from SD to NYY and Ben moved from LAA to DET.

The minidraft was opened up to the entire league and only one GM opted to join. Jim's move from Chicago to San Diego will be accompanied with a new roster, as he will join our two new GMs in the minidraft.

First, a brand new GM - Zach Thompson comes from us by way of Ty. Zach is a seasoned sim vet with 8 years of experience under his belt and is a real-life Mariners fan. Zach will take over the Angels franchise. Welcome to the league, Zach!

A familiar face fills our other GM vacancy: Aaron. Aaron will take over the White Sox, a fitting landing spot for him following La Russa's post-retirement arc.

I used a random number generator to determine the draft order, which will be snake.

2: Angels
3: White Sox

We will coordinate with the three GMs to come up with a time for the minidraft.
