Offseason 2022-23
Pretty successful year activity-wise. More GMs than usual submitted MPs routinely, and it was our first year of expanded playoffs, which led to some first-time playoff berths (John's Mets, Larry's Royals).
We'll have at least one opening. Jim Rice has decided to leave the IBC, and had minimal activity this year anyway. The Tigers are now vacant. If somebody would like to consider moving to the AL Central, please, let me know.
It's possible more people are going to exit the league. We're hoping to iron this out by the start of next week so we can get moving in earnest.
Happy to hear any and all discussions and suggestions on how to make the league even more engaging and fun going into next season.

Re: Offseason 2022-23
I think that proves my point. It worked out really well and everyone enjoyed themselves. Let's reinstate it.
Re: Offseason 2022-23
I second this as long as its also retroactively instated for the Yankees and Guardians.

The international signing date moving to January 15 from July 2 has made it difficult to start any earlier.

All the international prospects have signed. Any reason we can’t start this draft on 2/1? We moved it up in our sister league.
For those of us with kids 3/1 is winter vacation for a lot of us. I know I’ll be in CA when the draft starts. Plus it’s a long offseason and a cold winter and I’m fucking bored.

I’d second this, but understand if the ship sailed.Brewers wrote: ↑Mon Jan 30, 2023 7:47 am All the international prospects have signed. Any reason we can’t start this draft on 2/1? We moved it up in our sister league.
