Any word on when DMB will get around to getting us a projection disk this year?

Man...just killing my excitement to grind out this season. This is when I want to mess with lineups.

From DMB message board..

"In recent years, Diamond Mind's projection database has been prepared in partnership with a 3rd-party developer who supplies the ZiPS projected stats and ratings. Once the projections data are in our hands, it then takes another 10 to 14 days to wrangle the raw stats and ratings into a DMB-compatible database.

The projected stats and ratings were received earlier this week so assuming that there are no serious problems with the data, the 2022 ZiPS Projection Database should be available very early in May."

Geez. A good week-plus later than usual.

Are we ever playing. I mean the Tigers season has already ended IRL and we haven't even played a game. Not blaming anyone, but it sure takes the steam out of this.

So, I think what we're all saying is when is Shawn going to create a simulation software that easily converts zips to ratings?

I would also settle for the Tigers playing 40 games before it was time to give up on the season.

Projection disc is unusually late this year. Usually it is out the third week of April. It will either come out next week or the following.

The email I received from Diamond Mind said it would be released the week of the 16th. So hopefully early next week.
