We all received great news yesterday with the new CBA, and I'm even more excited about what it means specifically for the IBC.
Starting in 2022, we are expanding our playoff field to mirror the MLB's format. We will now have 12 teams qualify for postseason play. The top two seeds in each league will receive a coveted bye, and the wild card teams are no longer subject to a coinflip game, but a best-of-three series.
Additionally, the DH is going to be adopted in the IBC NL beginning this season.

Changes to our draft are coming - debating it currently and need more clarity on some things (international draft).
