Rays block

Post by Rays »

Just throwing a few names out. Will be looking for prospects/picks for most. In some cases highest pick offered will get the job done.

Danny Duffy - Still ramping up after IL stay. Having a pretty good start tot the season and SIM has liked him as well

Kolby Allard - Recently moved into the Rangers rotation. Not a super hard thrower but could do well as a LH long relief guy. Still only 23

Brad Keller - Inclined to keep him for next year. Only a few good starts away from having a good year in RL, but SIM likes him. Maybe for the right offer

Jeimer Candelario - 1B/3B versatility. Bat has started to come alive last couple weeks in MLB.

J.D. Davis - Injuries have squelched a hot start in MLB. Should be back after the break

Nomar Mazara - Is not havinga good MLB season, but the SIM loves him.

Austin Hays - Not having the breakout season I had hoped but he's doing ok, when healthy. I think there is more there and hopefully having to fight for PT will bring it out of him.

I have a few UT guys that can be had as well.

Travis Shaw - probably won't be back until August sometime but could be a good bat off the bench for a contender then. Highest pick offered gets him

Dylan Moore - A lot of versatility here. Plays all over. Has some pop. Again, highest pick offered gets him

Jonathan Villar - Pressed into action with Davis out and has held his own holding down 3B (2 HR last Fridays game).

I will be extremely reluctant to trade any of my young pitching, or most prospects but feel free to take your shot if you like someone.

Duffy is now a Dodger but should be back at the end of August.

Would like to possibly combine a couple prospects into one upgraded prospect or into a SP or OF. Prospects I had in mind are

Jerar 0-Encarnacion
Curtis 0-Mead
Christopher 0-Morel
Luken 18-Baker
Bryce 19-Ball
Colin 19-Barber
Carter 20-Baumler
Yanquiel 19-Fernandez
Brenton 19-Doyle
Ivan 19-Johnson
Raimfer 17-Salinas
Alex 20-Santos
Aaron 19-Schunk
Jhon 16-Torres

Also Still open to moving Candelario, Davis, Hays among others in the right deal

Shaw has found a new (old) home. Anyone needing a lefty power bat for their bench? Was hitting .273/.415/.484 145wRC in AAA before his release.

Pretty much anyone not injured or even injured if you're so inclined like Duffy, Keller, Hudson (possibly but coming back soon). Most others are bench pieces aside from Davis

JD Davis - .289/.385/.454 133 wRC 1.4 fWAR

Travis Shaw - Lefty power bat for the bench

Edmundo Sosa - Nice breakout season. Splitting time SS but eligible 2B/3B as well

Also wouldn't mind trading one or both of my 4s. Both should be top 10 in the round
