Agravated assault charges were dropped the day after the arrest and replaced with conspiracy to possess a weapon on school property and hindering prosecution. He won't be in Toronto for 4+ years anyway so I don't think it will be a big deal in the long run. If Milton Bradley can get into Canada, anyone can.

Both Alford and Schotts were in my queue when I took Watson, was hoping they would fall to the fourth round...alas they did not.

Wisdom and Butler were both on my short list. I struggled with these picks to find a starting pitcher who wasn't 16 and landed on Kline. Wanted a college pitcher rather than a high schooler and I think he's got a good repertoire.
Valentin kind of came from looking at higher picks that hadn't been selected in our draft. Small, but good glove, good bloodline and seemingly should be a solid hitting middle infielder.
All these picks are a gamble, but I'm hoping one out of the two progress well.

Hey, it was between Bird and Romero for me, so you made my decision easy.

Had Rathjen right after Black - and I struggled on that one...was hoping he'd fall to my last pick.
