Last I checked, last 2 times Brady played Eli in the Super Bowl (and i do believe playoff choking was used in your case against Peyton), it was Brady who was found wanting. Pretty Un-Regular-Season-Brady performances...while Eli rode his white horse into victory, our hearts, and the Hall of Beating Tom Brady When It Matters.

Lol. And I'll be exiting this thread for good now. Good to know everybody here is incapable of rationale thought.
A little sad you couldnt tell i was joking here based on our convos and the fact that id never apologize for the Yankees. You know that...

Brett you should know that arguments only work when they help Bren with his weak cases. Like Rodgers, or "choking in the playoffs" and such.

BTW anyone see the press conference? Brady is an awful liar, and I just had it on the radio driving home from work.

Bren if they lose next Sunday, are you going to disown them and your fandom of them like you did to the Red Sox in 2004? Just curious

And how are you feeling about that '86 and '90 Superbowls? Y'know, the ones BB was the defensive coordinator for? You do know he was almost certainly taping signals then too, right?

Here's how it is. Goodell needs him some good press, so he's gonna put the universally hated and envied Pats on the sacrificial altar. He knows how fucking absurd and unjust it is, and Kraft will string him up by his nuts, so he's going to announce his penalty after the SB. Meanwhile doing nothing to quell the firestorm he has built around this non-issue, with a stream of bogus reports surrounding it, to distract the team and leave them underprepared for the SB, hoping they will lose and spare him additional media egg on the face.

None of that really changes anything though. The Pats are gonna stomp the Seahawks, if you think that BB will let his team be distracted, you must have missed the 2007 season. And deflategate is a bunch of hotair fired by pitifully envious fans and dipshit "analysts" who are paid to stir up ratings/controversy.

Because it shows what a bunch of ignorant fucking hypocrites all those dipshits on ESPN are. I've gotta say, your revelation about having Sportscenter on in the background all the time really explains some things...

I'm going to be honest, watching Patriots fans scramble to defend Belichick has been the highlight of my early 2015. And that includes sex with a Brooklyn Nets cheerleader.

Everything about this is so awesomely 'shitty Boston fans' awesome it's amazing. Bitching about radio interviews until their guy is on the spot...then it's irrelevant! Oh, everyone's out to get us cuz we're totally awesome..except we're the only ones who ever get caught cheating! OMG the NFL needs some good press...so...let's...make...up...a...report...on...deflated...footballs?

Also, none of what you said went towards the quote you quoted of me explaining that Eli consistently made Brady his bitch. I don't even know why you quoted the quotes you did. Completely irrelevant to what you ultimately said.

I will say that if the rumors of the NFL setting up a hidden camera sting on the Pats is true I'm dying to know what they thought the win was in that scenario. Who is impressed by Goodell putting forth effort to find Patriots balls videos after putting forth such little effort on the Ray Rice video. Real Keystone Kops action going on here.

If you are going to make that statement, a photo of the cheerleader should be posted so all non-Pat fans can judge if this show has been a better highlight or not.

And being in the "I don't care" category for this argument, a high quality photo could swing me onto the anti-Belichick side.

Couple of points from the weekend on this............the Belichick and Brady interviews were awkward at best. Belichick's attempt at explaining the event away scientifically was a comical failure.

If the rumors regarding the NFL attempt to run a sting operation on this are true, then just another example of what a decision making failure Goodell has turned the administrative office of the NFL into. He is an embarrassement to the league.

If Jay Glazer's recent tweet I saw referenced on another site is true, that would represent a bad turn of events for the Pats, given the press conference Belichick and Brady ran this weekend.

I really don't expect this ("deflate-gate") to have any impact on the Super Bowl on Sunday, but it could turn into a bad offseason for the Pats if it comes out that the locker room attendant Glazer is tweeting reference to was directed to take the action by Brady.

Here is a link to the story now....

http://www.foxsports.com/nfl/story/defl ... ant-012615

"The person of interest was already interviewed by the league. The NFL is trying to determine whether any wrongdoing by this individual occurred, sources tell FOX Sports.

There is surveillance video showing the attendant taking the footballs from the official's locker room into another room at Gillette Stadium before bringing them out to the field, sources tell FOX Sports"

That second line above there doesn't sound good. I wonder if that video footage is regular footage from Gillette Stadium security camera's or footage from cameras the NFL installed specifically for a "sting" operation?

We all know ball boys go rogue right before a big game by changing the air pressure in balls

I completely believe that the ball boy did this on his own volition. In fact, I think Pete Carroll sent the ball boy in as a double agent to ensure that there would be a distraction for the Pats leading up to the Super Bowl. Consider the following events:

11/4/2014 - Colts release FB Stanley Havili from PUP list

11/12/2014 - Seahawks sign FB Stanley Havili to practice squad

11/13/2014 - Colts fall to Patriots on crazy Jonas Gray running day

Sometime later that day: Stanley Havili gets phone call from one of his buddies (those practice squad guys keep in touch, believe me) that there might be an issue with the footballs

Sometime before 12/4/2014: Stanley Havili passes this information on to Pete Carroll and co.

12/4/2014 - Being of no further use to them, Seahawks waive Stanley Havili, Pete Carroll sets dastardly scheme in motion

1/18/2015 - Having successfully turned the Patriots ball boy, Pete Carroll convinces NFL to closely monitor Patriots football, rogue ball boy deflates footballs after clearly showing camera he was taking them.

1/23/2015 - Totally flabbergasted, Belichick (who honestly can't believe something like that could escape his notice), totally chokes with ridiculous press conference like Rick Perry at the presidential debate.

1/26/2015 - Fiendishly giggling, Carroll tips Jay Glazer off to ball boy video the day before media day, ensuring that all the attention will be on New England and no one will notice the stupid things Richard Sherman says.

2/1/2015 - Carroll's plan backfires as Patriots win anyway

3/15/2015 or so - League announces penalties that have no long term impact but do create massive amounts of hot air from talk radio. Costs itself money by tarnishing another Super Bowl winner it should be promoting.

A source tells PFT that the "Deflategate" video shows a locker room attendant taking two bags of footballs into a bathroom.
The bags contained 12 balls to be used by the Patriots and 12 balls to be used by the Colts. The video does not show what went on in the stall, but attendant is in the bathroom for approximately 90 seconds. The Patriots turned this tape over to the Warren Commission, who will now scour the grassy knoll for more evidence. Expect the attendant to fall on his sword a la Lee Harvey Oswald, declining to incriminate Bill Belichick or Tom Brady.
Glazer's big 'scoop'. Dude goes to have a piss and it's national news.

Gotta love Rotoworld's sense of humor in the commentary.

Somebody alert the media, I'm about to go drop a deuce.

The best part/parts about this whole deflate-gate.......

1. All the spoofs that have been created. SNL, breaking out a Few Good Men spoof. Also, have you guys listened to the AC/DC remake of "Big Balls" for Tom Brady and deflate-gate yet. Good stuff!

2. Watching Bren trip all over himself to defend the honor of Belichick and Brady.

3. We don't have to listen the national media geeks complain about Marshawn Lynch not wanting to talk to them.

No, #1 has to be that in all this hype, even that dipshit Richard Sherman gets drowned out. Not that he's not still squawking at the top of his lungs to try to get someone with a camera or mic to pay attention to him.

Don't be a hater, Bren.

As Sherman told Skip Bayless......he's better at life than you.
