HR Pool 2024
Hi guys,
Every year for at least the last 30-35 years, a group of guys has put together what they simply call the Home Run Pool. A guy creates four lists of sluggers. You have to pick 1 guy off each list and then three "at-large" players (who don't appear on any lists). Have the most HR at the end of the year, win money. $25 entry. Last year's winners tied and split $3,000. It's fun, it's zero-maintenance and it updates daily. Please check it out. Share with friends, family, coworkers. Entries are submitted online and payment via Paypal. (I have others, if necessary).

Now that the season is about two months in and IBC is just about at Opening Day, it's a good time for a HR Pool update.

The rest of the IBC field:

How many of the low totals picked Acuna? Is that part of the struggles?

19 entries have Acuna. Same list with Olson, Ohtani, Judge, Alonso, Schwarber, Alvarez, so that's a tough one to deal with.Rockies wrote: Wed May 22, 2024 11:22 am How many of the low totals picked Acuna? Is that part of the struggles?

Ended in 8th place despite getting 13 homers from Casas. Lengthy time missed by Kye Tucker didn't help either. But I'll take it. My buddy Woody ended up in 5th.

Congrats, Nick. How you hung on with two big missing pieces is beyond me. Usually, that spells doom.Phillies wrote: Tue Oct 01, 2024 12:53 pm Ended in 8th place despite getting 13 homers from Casas.
