Re: 2022 AL Rookie of the Year
Steven Kwan, OF - played 162 games (648 AB/714 PA) hitting .272/.324/.378 resulting in 176 hits (34 doubles, 7 triples, 7 HR), 82 runs, 82 RBI (including 9 GW RBI) & 13 SB ... only 1.5 K/BB. He led the AL by a wide margin with 570 balls in the park and his 11 sac flys was 2nd in the league.
Playing 1,438.3 innings of defense in the OF, Kwan was strong in the corners with 153 putouts, 7 assists and 5 errors resulting in a .970 fielding percentage. Admittedly not as strong in CF where he logged 145 putouts, 1 assist and 10 errors for a .936 fielding percentage. Overall his fielding percentage was a decent .953 --- Next season he will only play LF.
