Jake Burger

Post by Yankees »

Between AAA last year and this year, spring training this year, and his MLB time this year and last year, it's pretty clear that the dude is an MLB caliber 3b...and he's got a pretty good SIM.

I'm willing to move him for those looking for a long-term solution at 3b, but would be looking for a high level prospect coming back (top 50-100ish). Hit me up on gchat or pm.

Also open to moving Donovan Walton who also has an excellent SIM and is absolutely murdering AAA.

Just had our baby girl, so I will be pretty sporadic, but will try to check in every day.

Congrats man! Don't name her Jake Burger, though it'd be funny, Burger is a shitty middle name.

Haha…appreciated all!

She’s Brooklyn Elizabeth. That wasn’t intended to be a birth announcement either…but I was tired and it went.

In other news, on top of Burger and Walton, I’m putting Joe Ryan on the block, too. 105 era+ and a very good start to the year.

Joe Ryan was almost flawless again tonight, going 7 ip's giving up only a hit and a walk with 9 k's.

He's 3-1 with a 1.17 era and 0.70 whip, with 25 k's in 23 ip's. This could all seem like small sample size, but he has a 2.67 era with a 0.87 whip and 13.0 k/9 in his MiLB career, and was quite good in his first crack at MLB last year, too, with a 3.43 fip and a 0.79 whip and 10.1 k/9.

He's available.
