Karinchak pitched 55.1 IP for SD in 2020. According to MLB, a rookie loses rookie status once he hits 50 innings pitched or 130 at-bats. (reports/2020/tm29_tmpch) So, Karinchak will not be considered a rookie for voting purposes.
