That was an incredible blast from the past. When I was in 8th grade in 1999 I went to Japan on a school trip. My home stay “brother” spoke almost no English but was a huge Hanshin Tigers fan. The #3 hitter for those Tigers? Mike Blowers! And the first prospect I acquired on purpose for the IBC? Matt Tuiasosopo. Thanks for sharing!
