Dbacks spring block

Post by DBacks »

Dbacks still looking to move some in their prime veterans that can help a contender for quality youth:

Yasiel Puig - 30+ HR now that he's in Cincy? 116 OPS+ w/ good defense
Nate Eovaldi - 111 ERA+ projection
Nick Castellanos - still young enough to fit into our plans, but might fit better on an AL team where he could be part/full time DH. 120 OPS+
Archie Bradley, Hunter Strickland - quality relievers

Puig and Eovaldi have been moved.

Still available:

Nick Castellanos - might fit better on an AL team where he could be part/full time DH. 120 OPS+
Mike Foltynewicz - will only move for a compelling offer - he was 3rd in BA allowed and 13th in K/9 in 2018
Archie Bradley, Hunter Strickland - quality relievers

One other guy who may be useful to someone is Tim Locastro. He can play 2b and OF, and gets on base 33% of the time in the projection, which is slightly above average in today's MLB. Overall projection is 256/330/366 (he was not in the original team projection lists due to timing of being traded)
