I read the rules and it seems to me the Gourriel brothers were eligible for me to sign and if they sign with MLB team before the season starts I can keep them. That's my understanding anyway. If I am wrong, please reverse my add/drops. I don't see how this is any different from Jake signing Dae-ho Lee after the draft ended so I figured it was worth a shot.

I don't think its against the rules at all Nick.. well done.

That said.. I think we need to visit a solution of how we handle zip projections, and just declared cuban/international talent that hits the market(as in this instance). Again, Its 9:45am and this just passes across my desk. East coast advantage.. Maybe nothing comes out of this signing, but if it does.. the rich got richer here..

I'm not even saying I have a solution, but I think it warrants discussion.

I totally think it warrants discussion. We need a better waiver system for imports and ZiPS projections for sure. But gotta take advantage of the rules we have in place now...

It probably would have made you as upset if I snagged them, which is what I was trying to do a few minutes after Nick. But at least you got a Super Bowl, Nate. Stop being so greedy
