SP John Lackey looked good in his season debut win. 6 IP, 2 ER, 6 K. Solid projection. He's on the block. Looking for a corner OF bat with some pop.

John Lackey held the Rangers to an unearned run over seven innings to win Monday and move to 2-0.
Lackey looks to be up for matching or maybe even exceeding his 2013 performance, which is great news for the Red Sox. He has a 1.38 ERA and a 13/3 K/BB ratio in 13 innings to date.
