I informed JP a few days ago that Gardner would be DL'd prior to next weeks sim as the rules required. Had his injury occurred prior to this week and was being evaluated I would have DL'd him immediately.

Insinuating that there is any correlation between sim results and your objecting to a process is uncalled for. In all my years in the league I have never had occasion to doubt the fairness of JP's sim results.

It was a joke. Deep breath, Kenny.

1) Don't question the people who simulate the games in the middle of a playoff race or end up with your worst losing streak of the season.
2) Either the current injury system works, there's apathy/low website traffic for those out of the playoff race or people didn't feel like posting their opinion for fear they'd be attacked.
Reading the two points together with the "fear they'd be attacked" comment in point #2 did not make it seem that way. I apologize if I took it out of context.

I can see that. Didn't mean to imply that.

But I do think it's pretty sad that a league of adults can't have a civil conversation about a topic without longstanding members of the league turning posts into personal attacks. Who would want to contribute to a discussion after that?

And thanks for addressing Gardner. Would still like to see players who aren't officially being DLed and being farmed posted here. Otherwise, only a handful of people know the status and I think everyone should know what players the rule is being applied to.

Hmm I wonder who started the personal attacks on this thread

Yep, in response to JP's post trying to discredit me for bringing up the topic. But, yes, I would have preferred a more thought-provoking response from you than what was essentially "Too bad, shut up." And I figured you'd be a little less "my way or the highway" given your knowledge, passion and attitude about the Civil War.

Obviously, I'm in the minority who thinks we can improve and we'll just have to guess which players the rule is apllied to. Obviously this thread never had a chance and quickly became pointless. Time to shut it down.
