2012 IBC Predictions

Post by Cardinals »

So, we'll have the disc in the next two weeks or so, but let's see who you guys have making the playoffs and winning the world series before then. It's a little more fun to go out on a limb before you sim 30,123 seasons.

Anyway, here's how I see it:

American League:
East - Yankees
Central - Royals
West - Rangers
Wild Cards - Red Sox, Rays

National League:
East - Marlins
Central - Pirates
West - D'Backs
Wild Cards - Nationals, Giants

I picked JB to win last year and was unfortunately right, but this year I'm picking my Pirates to take out the Sox in the World Series. I think that there are a lot of teams in contention this year, and could easily see Toronto, Detroit, Chicago or Seattle also jumping into the playoffs this year as well. I'm expecting Atlanta, New York, LA and Colorado to compete in the NL too, and I wouldn't be surprised if the Cubs or Reds sneak into the picture, especially w/ how weak the NL Central is this year.

I thought Jerry Sands would lead me to the promise land for sure.
