I can't find the thread discussing it, but did we reach a decision on the topic of allowing all types of moves in September only not processing them into the database? I'm totally for this and with 4 days to September we need to come to a decision and publicize it immediately (if we decide for change).
Any thoughts on a database that reflects the trade deadline more accurately? ie all approved trades go in a Friday database before or after the games are played so that the players really are on rosters by September 1st?
I would support that idea. The last conversation Bren and I had seemed to indicate that we were still going to disallow trades, but that players signed as free agents should go into OOPSS and not the DB.

Before we get to the playoffs someone (I'm happy to volunteer if no one else will) will go through the playoff teams DB rosters and compare them with the list of September signings and make sure no one is playing.

Since I will not be in the playoffs I will volunteer to do it>
