Re: Cliff Lee
Well, judging by his contract, he's almost as good as Jayson Werth.Phillies wrote:Heard the Phillies signed him last night. You guys know anything about him? Is he any good?

I knew this thread had to be coming sooner or later.
Great move by the Phillies, bummer for the Rangers. Take that Yankees! Ha!
I'm just glad Lee is out of the AL West and not on the Yankees.
That Phillies rotation is going to be nasty!
In looking at my post count.....this could be considered a bit of an unlucky post by me. Glad it was about someone else's player.

Halladay, Lee, Oswalt. The Phillies rotation is like one of those rotations you dream up when your playing MLB the Show and you turn on auto-accept trades. Ridiculous. Too bad neither Halladay nor Lee can handle the defending world champions.

Between the Phillies and Red Sox, they've added over $600 million in contracts the past 2 off seasons. Which I suppose pales in comparison to when the Yankees added something like $400 mil the year they signed Tex and CC.
