I'm heading to Portland tomorrow afternoon and will be out through Monday for the Hood to Coast relay.

Any trades that people want to get wrapped up with me before the playoff trade deadline will need to get done before tomorrow afternoon.

We received word about 4:00 am that Patti's Dad, Dean, passed after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson's. Not sure what we will do now - hard to take the girls out of a school to drive back for the funeral but I imagine we will work through that over the course of the next few hours or so while talking with Patti's family. Dean was a good man who raised ten good kids - including my best friend.

Needless to say, I will be on the road one way or other and pretty much out of contact for a week or so ...

Watch out for those windstorms on I-10. Looks like a pretty ugly site there by Casa Grande yesterday.

I'm heading down to Phoenix tomorrow. Will be there through the 4th. Working out of our Phoenix office most of next week and will check in from time to time.
