Draft Pick Trading Reminder

Post by Cardinals »

Just a reminder that there is no pick trading during the draft itself, so those shopping for picks have through Monday night to acquire such picks. That said, I'll take a first rounder or two. :D

Are we drafting 6 and 7 rounds this year, or is it free agent time after 5 rounds?

We keep drafting until everyone decides they're done, unless there has been a rule change I haven't heard about.

No rule change. Like Bren said, each GM declares when he's done drafting, and if we're picking past the fifth round, I think we need to let Shawn know to create the extra pick(s) for us in advance. I think I made 8-9 picks last year.

I am going to make at least a 6th round pick, possibly a 7th.

1. You just need to drop prior to each draft pick such that you stay at or below 50 at all times.

2. As far as draft year distinctions (7/8/9/0) we roll them over at the conclusion of the draft. So during the draft we allow all sevens, eights and nines to count for your ten draft slots. Within 48 hours of the conclusion of the draft we expect everyone to have no more than 40 non-8/9 players.

Any chance we can finally do away with the year designations and just mark all players not in the DB with an "X"?

I love hearing Jagger mention this. It's like Hanukkah, I don't know when it will be, but it comes around every year all the same. :)
