Three quick points on it:
1) Good for Bobby Jenks. Throwing at a hitter is a part of the game - and an important part of the game for the protection of one's team. You need to stand up for your guys - good for Jenks.
2) I don't think he should be suspended. If he hit Kinsler, then yes. I know that sounds pretty dumb - but I'm just not sure how you suspend someone for not hitting someone.
3) God, I hate Ozzie Guillen:
"That's his problem," Guillen said of Jenks, according to the newspaper. "I know what I see and what I think. I don't think it was the right moment to do it because we can get in trouble. But if he says he did it, I respect his word and I can't do anything about it right now."
He should have said, "It was not a bench order. Otherwise I have no comment on the situation." I realize that Ozzie is well known for running his yap, but cover your ass and then cover for your player...it just bugs me when a manager refuses to back up his player, or talks badly about the player - no matter how dumb the situation. Ozzie cares about Ozzie first, and then his guys second - and I really don't think that's the job description of a manager.

Personally, i think that if you're gonna throw at a guy, just do it and don't run your yap about it. jenks probably wasn't going to be suspended before, probably will now that he ran his mouth. And I'm pretty fine with that. Throwing at hitters (or trying to) is part of the game and so is getting ejected or suspended for it.
Ozzie is a schmuck, can't agree more with what Z said about him.

1) I pretty much agree. Throwing at hitters has always been a part of the game and should continue to be. That said, head hunting does not fall into that category (not saying this relates to the Jenks issue, just bringing it up) and should never be done. A nice welt with lace marks on a guys rib cage or back sends the right message and doesn't threaten a guys career.
2) Yes, Guillen is the biggest putz (no offense JJ) on a major league bench. Think the guy is an absolute idiot.

I wish there was a button during games in DMB for a "brushback" pitch. It would bring DMB to a whole new level.
"My shit doesn't work in the playoffs. My job is to get us to the playoffs. What happens after that is fucking luck."
