MLB 2k9 vs MLB The Show
MLB 2k9 vs MLB The Show
Just wondering if anyone is getting either game? I haven't bought a baseball game since EA had there college series on the PS2 a couple years back. I only got 1 option since I have a 360 to get 2k9 as long as the reviews for it aren't complete shit. So just checkin about you guys since they both come out tomorrow.

I have a PS2 & a Wii, so baseball games aren't very appealing this year.
I've been updating my 2k8 to current rosters. The game pretty much blows, but it's good enough to get my fix for March.

I've been getting the The Show since EA stopped making their game, and I really like it, it seems to play like the EA game. The only bummer is that hitting is a lot harder than it seems like it should be, I used to be able to count on 10 runs a game on any level with the baseball games I'd play and in the Show you'll find 0-0 extra inning games aren't uncommon.
Baseball Stars was awesome, however you had to play a perfect game in order to beat the American Dreams, maybe the greatest team ever. I played a 7 game series against them a couple summers ago cause I still have my NES hooked up at my grandparents, and I lost in the 13th inning of Game 7. When you got the 2-7 hitters hitting around .300 with 30 homers, its hard to win

I lost count at how many of my fantasy baseball teams I named the Ninja BlackSox. I stopped naming them that now, because no one knows what I'm talking about.Cardinals wrote:Baseball Stars was awesome, however you had to play a perfect game in order to beat the American Dreams, maybe the greatest team ever.
