I love the situation Bren is in, he's forced to root for Matsuzaka so the Sox can win, but against him so JB won't have yet another ace.

Similarly, JB has to root for Matsuzaka for his own sake, but the better he does, the worse that is for the real Yankees. There's a reason I avoid Yankee players at all costs.
I'd much rather see the real Red Sox do well than the IBC Red Sox.
